L I S H A S O N G
INTUITIVE TRAUMA THERAPIST
My journey toward becoming a therapist started when I was 18 years old, a freshman in college, sitting in my therapist’s office realizing that if everyone had some therapy, the world would be a better place. Over 30 years later, I still believe that. I believe most of us have trauma and pain from the past, which haunt us and our current relationships. Therapy is one of many tools in the recovery and healing process. As your therapist, my relationship with you is a collaborative, respectful, and professional one. My role is to guide and help you uncover the truth about yourself and empower you as you progress toward your true potential, your authentic Self. I do this through the meaningful connection of spirit, mind & body.
Approaches include: EMDR Therapy, Ego State Therapy, Imaginal Nurturing, Somatic Attachment Therapy, Spiritual Resourcing, Imagination, Visualization, and Meditative Exercises.
MY CLIENTS… are folks who want to experience something other than conventional talk therapy, which truly does not motivate anyone toward change. They want to experience profound healing & resolution in their lives so they can evolve into the humans they are meant to be without being stuck in therapy for years. If this is you, please contact me so we can get started on your personal transformation journey as soon as possible!

Love After Love by Derek Walcott
The time will come
when, with elation
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror
and each will smile at the other's welcome,
and say, sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you
all your life, whom you ignored
for another, who knows you by heart.
Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,
the photographs, the desperate notes,
peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit. Feast on your life.
