Welcome to the Mini Muse Art Series

I've been painting on and off with watercolor and acrylics since about 2016. It became a daily practice supplementing my meditation and quiet time as I would prepare for the day ahead. As other creative endeavors have diverted my energy and attention, painting is now more of a spontaneous practice. A reminder of the joy that lives within me. Painting helps me access this joy instantly. It quiets my overthinking mind and helps to balance the energy I hold for clients in my healing practice.

Hidden Flower

What's fun about watercolor is the mystery of what will emerge when you allow colors to just flow and bleed into each other.

Sometimes it's a flower. Maybe a poppy.
