You Got This!

I thought I'd have a little creative fun with this month's Tarotpy message and pull the same cards from two different decks, just as an exercise of comparison.
The top row is my go-to deck, the Light Seers Tarot by Chris-Anne and the bottom row is from the newly purchased Mind's Eye Tarot by Olivia Rose. Her artwork is strange and stunning, isn't it?
From left to right, we have the 7 of Cups, The Magician, and the 6 of Pentacles.
The 7 of Cups from the top row is showing a man who seems to be in a decision-making conundrum. A lot of cups (choices) before him and he needs to make up his mind. There are two ladders, a snake, a bat's wing, a watery path, etc. A variety of options. Some with potential problems. However the 7 of Cups in the bottom row shows 7 conch shells, each holding a different item. The female figure in this card doesn't appear to be uncertain of the choice she needs to make. In fact, she may be appreciating her options. And maybe she'll choose more than one shell.
There's never just one way, one path.
Bringing it back to you....are you in the middle of making an important decision about something or someone in your life? Do you know what the best option is, but are unsure of your ability to see it through?
Well, The Magician card is here to remind you of your creative capacity, your alchemistic autonomy. Both Magician cards show the main character waving & infusing energy or magic either with their hands or a wand. The top card feels more serious, focused, and bold. Whereas the bottom card feels softer, lighter, and fairy-like with its pastel colors and female character. She reminds me of fairy godmother. In the order of traditional tarot, this card comes after The Fool card -- indicating that you're at the beginning of a journey which you may feel unsure and insecure about, but are more than capable and gifted enough to bring it to life. The possibility itself lives within you, not outside of you. Growing up in a patriarchal, religious culture we have forgotten our intuitive roots and magical gifts, our own sovereignty. Through fear-based indoctrination, we have been conditioned to listen only to external sources of authority as a guide to living.
What an ingenious way to control the masses, eh?
Sometimes, external validation can be helpful when considering several possibilities and outcomes. But we were never meant to give all our power & trust away to an outside source, no matter how wise, spiritual, or charming they are. Great teachers & great leaders are ones who teach you how to return to yourself, your own knowing, and trust it.
The last card - 6 of Pentacles - shows us the reciprocity of giving and receiving. This is an important aspect to a successful, meaningful life. It reminds me of this quote I heard recently,
"You have to do the work yourself, but you cannot do it alone."
I can't remember who said it, but it's simple and yet profound. This card is inviting you to continue healing, growing, and sharing, but not in isolation. Reciprocate and/or collaborate with others. Give and receive. Receive and give. Just because you're doing the work and have made some hard choices, doesn't mean you're at the end of the road. And when the territory is unfamiliar, we need as much support as possible. This is not a time of isolation. This is a time of community and connection, especially since our country, our world are feeling very unfamiliar and scary right now. You have plenty to offer, even if you don't see it fully and clearly yet.
See the call from this month's Tarotpy spread and engage that inner Magician of yours to alchemize this next path for you.
When you align with this energy, you give others permission and inspiration to align with theirs. And before you know it, you create connection and community.
"You have to do the work yourself, but you cannot do it alone."

What Harry said:
“I really enjoyed my experience with Lisha’s tarotpy sessions! She is very insightful and engaging, and offers an individualized approach in her readings. It felt like a collaborative process where she helped me channel my intuition while interpreting the cards, which I really appreciated, and I left with a greater sense of direction and centeredness toward a situation I was feeling uncertain about. Overall, I really encourage anyone to meet with Lisha, especially if you find yourself in need of clarity or guidance from a compassionate, thoughtful perspective.”
